Work

The top is purpose-dyed, but it could be a studio rag,

which means I love it. Maybe if I dress like this,

you will begin to see what I cannot say

about the inside of my mind,

the creative chaos where the work takes place,

the invisible room where they joy lives.

Or maybe the only audience is myself,

me only, the one who wonders every day

who I am, there being no easy

or permanent answer to that

given that my only real job

seems to have something to do with getting better at

transmitting the colors through me.
